SF Alonzo Gaffney (transfer to NW Florida, transfer to Arizona St.)

I always liked him better as a tall, lean prospect than Jordan Mitchell, but I've never seen anything from Gaffney's game that made me think he was a can't-miss. Kind of like Carlton Bragg, I guess. Nice measurables, comes from a winning program, has the skills, just seems to coast a lot. Won't get away with it in college like he can in HS. The potential is obvious, though.

Watched his film a few months ago, for whatever reason, I had it in my head that he was an 18' recruit, so I was wondering why no one was talking about the kid, anyway his upside seems to be enormous he has a lot of tools that can be developed stroke looks pretty pure so shooting won't be a problem, great wingspan, about the only issue I see is his motor, he may have something in common with Marc Loving

The way he exploded on the AAU circuit this summer and started getting high D1 offers, I think it's fair to say he will be Holtmanns first must get Ohio player.

Holtmann didn't have a great chance on the '18 class of Ohio players but will have full time with '19 and on.
