Restaurants in Cleveland area

I need some help from people who are familiar with both Columbus and Cleveland dining.

My favorite restaurant in Columbus was Old Bag of Nails. I've been in the Cleveland area now for almost three months and I cannot find a nice, quiet place that comes close to its food and atmosphere.

Anyone have suggestions on where to look?

Disclaimer: I've never been to Old Bag of Nails. I tried to go there yesterday and couldn't find a parking spot.

But I've driven by it in Gahanna. If you want something with a similar setting scenery-wise, try Eddie's Creekside on 21 in Brecksville. The food is excellent, and they have a dining area and bar area.

Old Bag of Nails... great restaurant!!! Loved whenever I had to travel back to Columbus for business and broke out the ol Company American Express card!

But what part of Cleveland do you live? Depending on where you live will depend on a place that is more convinient for ya. There are some nice places in Lakewood you can find. But on the eastside I prefer Muldoon's on East 185th.

I've been to that Winking Lizzard and it is a great place to eat.

Old Bag of Nails has somewhat of a pub feel to it and that is what I am looking for here.

I was down in the Flats last night at the Flat Iron cafe for a Cleveland Egnineering Society meeting (no, I am not an engineer, but I stayed at a Holiday Inn last night). The place kind of reminded me of Old Bag of Nails, but it was pretty quiet there and I imagine on the weekend it is a loud place, which is not what I'm looking for.
