“That was a hard game,” Day said. “Everyone at Northwestern, they do a great job and they didn’t make it easy for us. That was not an easy game for us and we had a hard time finding our rhythm. But then somewhere along in the game, Trey and our offensive line got into a rhythm and no I've never seen anything like that. The thing that made it amazing to me was that it came out of nowhere, out of left field. He just started running unbelievably and ran the same way against Clemson.

“... It was a very unique year for Trey, came off that injury last year. He kind of found his way, didn't really have a preseason. So it kind of took him a while to get his feet underneath him. The thing about Trey is, he doesn't have a lot of mileage on him, does not have a lot of carries. I think that's a huge positive for him. I think he has a huge ceiling. I think whoever drafts him is going to get somewhere who is very versatile and runs very hard with low mileage on his body.”

Ryan Day believes Trey Sermon "has a huge ceiling” in the NFL

Just sayin': Sermon's challenge will be to stay heathy to reach that ceiling.
