Well you can pretty much guarantee each and every game there are adjustments in the blocking scheme. I coached OLine for one of the better teams in Ohio for a few years and you always make adjustments at half time, so I assumed but would have bet both of my testicles on the assumption lol. It is just something that happens every half time. Urban came out in his presser and confirmed they made some half time blocking adjustments too, which again is no surprise. I am certain IU also made adjustments.

Wait, halftime adjustments are allowed? Does the NCAA know the team is doing that?

Someone here said that EZE might be the best OSU RB ever. I've only been watching OSU football since 2000 or so with sprinklings here and there but...yeah I think I'm ready to call EZE the best OSU RB that I've seen. He just does EVERYTHING so well and he gives 100% effort on every play. Love this kid to death.

Only thing he is missing is Beanie's Hammer of a stiff arm imagine if he had that too :o

I am not sure but does it seem like Zeke is focusing on hitting the homeruns a little bit more? A great way to help the offense is to not forget how we did so well last year, get descent chunks on first and second down, always fall forward and try not to lose those 2 yards.

Ezekiel Elliott is Special Thanks to the Five in Front of Him

Watching the highlights, most people only focus on Ezekiel Elliott. His runs of 80, 75, 65, and 55 yards this year are a joy to behold, but they don’t happen without the five guys up front.

“I knew that we needed big plays and the O-line did a great job blocking and they made it easy for me,” Elliott said after his 274-yard rushing day against Indiana last weekend where he broke three of his four longest runs of the season.

The Heisman Trophy candidate has always been the first to credit his offensive line for his success. This was true after he exploded on the national scene during the College Football Playoff last year and remained the case all offseason.

The guys up front open the holes for him to run through, but a running back has to find those holes and this doesn’t always happen quickly. According to guard Billy Price, it’s his willingness to wait for holes that makes him special.

“With Zeke, for me specifically, it’s his patience,” Price said of Elliott. “Something that separates him from other backs in the nation is just how he’s patient and he lets us do the dirty work and that makes it easy for him. So he kind of understands us and I think that’s why we have such great chemistry with him specifically.”

Even co-defensive coordinator and linebackers coach Luke Fickell, who played with a Heisman Trophy-winning running back in Eddie George, can’t deny that Elliott is something special.

“I think he is,” Fickell said when asked if he’s on the level with some of OSU’s other backs of the past. “I’m not sure that the combination of speed and power and the ability to get to the second level and not be tackle, the ability to drop him pads. I think he’s different.”

If there’s a hole open, Elliott will find it and once he does, you’re in trouble. There are few players in college football that have the breakaway speed as the Buckeye running back and when he gets to showcase it, it’s fun to watch for Ohio State fans.

“That’s where the difference maker is,” Fickell said of Elliott’s ability to run away from the fastest of defenders.

You never saw Keith Byers prior to his injury. You can still find his performance against Illinois on youtube. Or Eddie George in the second half against Notre Dame.

That said, let Zeke have a Biatchamafucka game against Michigan and I'll agree with you.
