Hyde joins two of Meyer's other former Ohio State players in Jacksonville: offensive guard Andrew Norwell, who restructured his contract to stay with the Jaguars on Monday morning, and defensive tackle DaVon Hamilton.

Former Ohio State running back Carlos Hyde is looking for a new NFL home this offseason. After spending the 2021 season with the Jacksonville Jaguars, the team announced, as part of a number of moves, on Thursday that Hyde had been released.
