A few familiar names in that league--Ben Nash and Chris Conwell were on the 2002 title team, Conwell followed Tressel from YSU. One guy I'm surprised has fallen so quickly is T.A. McLendon.

Ever since he got stuffed at the goalline in triple OT! :lift:

Stanley Jackson, chatting at the Memorial, is playing for the Marion Mayhem of the Continental Indoor Football League.

A last chance has turned into a new beginning for Stanley Jackson.

The former Ohio State quarterback moved his family from Arkansas to Marion, Ohio, this year in his quest for a final shot at pro football. Even if it has come with the Marion Mayhem of the Continental Indoor Football League, the bottom rung on the ladder to the NFL, it was a step up two years removed from his final cut from the Canadian Football League.

"So I thought I would just come back to the area and play a little football, move my family back here, be around old teammates, and at the same time get some leads on the next step after football."

Redmen told: 'Be all you can be'

By Dan Clutter ? Telegraph-Forum staff ? September 11, 2008

BUCYRUS -- Stanley Jackson said he has played football since he was seven years old. Now, at 33, he still plays, this time in arena football with the Marion Mayhem.
But Jackson told the players in the Bucyrus football program that he would still trade places with each of them, despite all he's accomplished on the field.
"When I play football, I get goosebumps," Jackson said. "It's an honor and a privilege to be able to play football.
"When you get to our ages," Jackson told the players. "This will all end one day. But you still have an opportunity to strap it on. But when you get to our ages, can you be able to say that you are satisfied with the effort you gave, or will you have regret?"
The former Ohio State quarterback spoke to the Redmen players Wednesday night and his message was to be all you can be: On the football field, in the classroom and at home.
