QB Justin Fields (2019-20 B1G Off POY, 2020 Silver Football, 2019 B1G CCG MVP, Pittsburgh Steelers)

Great year young man. It sucks it had to end like this. Never thought I'd see a Buckeye QB put up a line of 41/3.

Watching some highlights of the PSU game and it was a completely different offense with him healthy. Draws, options and QB power in the RZ. Scrambling was as dangerous as anyone. The injury was obviously much more serious than was ever let on. Would be surprised if he didn't have a 'minor' surgery to clean up his knee. But then again, I think we're all just lucky he got up after than hit against ttun. 9/10 times you're toast after that.

Damn. I don't think anyone beats this team with him healthy, but it's hard to stay healthy. That's football.

I think he grew a lot and I was mostly impressed with his passing yesterday. He's super talented and I'm really excited to see him take it to the next level this spring and summer. With how impressive he's been, I actually think there is a lot left to work on and refine. He could be Dwayne with wheels next year. But we'll see. Just glad to have him.

Watching the game live I can say he's seen it all now. Venables threw the kitchen sink and Fields had to deal with it as a pocket passer because of the knee.

I told little Jax on the plane back today, as painful as that was it may just have been what Fields needed to go handle playing at Penn State next year.
