Honestly would've been more surprised if he was 100%.
Still shocked he got up after that shot against TTUN. And with all the travel and awards stuff, he probably hasn't gotten the rest he needed.
Gotta hope he's better than against Wisconsin and the next 3-4 days help him a bit more.

Ryan Day will have to play this game close to the vest and one take quarter at a time. I keep thinking about how our defense will be approaching this game. Will they let Chase Young go after the offense?.
If Clemson makes one little mis-stake we must capitalize right away and strike fast. We have to gain momentum and keep it that way.

Maybe, but I think it's more likely how he feels right now. I think they were always going to have to deal with it, and I think more important than his running ability is his ability to plant and throw accurately.

Adrenalin can compensate for pain. Remember JT in the Penn State game? And he wore a big brace. Regardless, this game will be won in the trenches. The skill players are equally talented on both sides. It's up to our OL and DL to give us the edge. Over time we have to beat them up and wear them down. And with all the justified talk about Venerables and the Clemson OC, Mattison and Hafley have proven to be elite as well. As has Ryan Day. Our coaches this year are the best "in game" adjusters I have seen.

Kid will be fine. Once the whistle blows 85% is better than most at this point in the season.
My concern is keeping him clean in the game. That will be hugely important.

I’m not buying it. I think he bluffing, honestly. Because let’s be real, if he really were 80-85% why would he let Clemson know that? Let them think they are coming into the game playing a less-mobile Fields. #chessnotcheckers
