It probably would be best for JF to get a new start someplace else, but I didn't see anything in the game yesterday that said he was the problem. There were a handful of times I thought the play was dead and he turned it into something. No way the Bears are better with Caleb Williams than if they kept JF and drafted Harrison Jr so they had fewer plays like above.

That said, the Bears appear to be improving on defense. I wouldn't be opposed to seeing Fields stay if they fire the moron OC (yesterday's game was just called laughably bad in the second half) and spend the draft/offseason focusing on the offense. I don't know that Seattle is that much better, they were good not that long ago but they aren't exactly exuding elite franchise these days either.

I more want Fields away from there for Fields' sake. Go be a backup with eagles, San Fran, Miami for a year or two. Unlearn all the bad habits he picked up in Chicago and start fresh.

I am of the school of thought that if the Bears drafted Marvin and a good OT rounds 1-5 (plus another OL after that or in free agency), and also fire their OC, then he has a good shot to succeed. If they don't want to go that route, they need to let Justin go somewhere to succeed and when their offense continues to fail, it would be on them.

I looked last night and noticed Moore is on pace to have the best statistical season of his career. They could take both MHJ and Brock Bowers in the 1st.

I would not give up on Justin, he was the 4th fastest player in NFL history to 4000/1000 and the 2nd fastest to 5000/2000. Get him more weapons.

That game wasn’t on Fields. He’s actually been playing pretty well. The Oline is a sieve, the play calling is horrendous as are his receivers.

I’m sure you are right that the Bears will move on and that’s probably best for Fields as well. A lot of times a QBs success depends on who drafts them.

I don't know why they were passing so much in the second half with a lead. Their defense was playing well but they had to keep going out there.

I agree with the conclusion no doubt, but one weapon he needs is a very good OT. Don't get me wrong, he needs an elite WR like MH or he's screwed. But get him a really good OT with MH, and everyone looks much better, including Kmet at TE.

But for Justin, I think it should be more of a question if he is ready to be done with Chicago. He should just be given damn near free reign on the first couple of picks or walk. Which I would think is MH and the best OT out there. Their defense is pretty solid overall.

But it's not my team and technically I don't care other than wanting to see one of my favorite Buckeyes of all time succeed. I'll never forget what he did for our team in the covid year and hell, what he did for all of college football. Dude is a legend and I just hope he gets the best situation possible whatever that might be. Except Pittsburgh, fuck those guys.
