QB Dwayne Haskins Jr. (All B1G, B1G OPOY, Silver Football, Rose Bowl MVP, R.I.P.)

Nobody is knocking the door down for Dwayne. If somebody called and offered a 1 and another pick he’d be traded.
They tanked his value with all the rumors and throwing him under the bus. They will be lucky to get a 5th but if I was the Steelers , Lions etc I offer that in a heartbeat. Chance to get first round talent with nearly no risk and if he busts cause he doesn't put in work oh well. We weren't getting much of contributor with that pick anyways in most drafts

I didn’t say he was worth anything but if they got a first he’d be gone. Would you take him back at tOSU or are you ok with JF?
I don't understand what point you're making. Nobody would give a first for like half the starters in the NFL. And there are 2 teams in college that wouldn't take him right now over their starter. What are you even getting at?

Healthy scratch today. I'm guessing he could be had for a relatively cheap price at this point. Hopefully he gets a fresh start somewhere that he's not asked to be the man on day one, and can get some decent coaching. The WFT is about as dysfunctional as Jerry's Cowboys.

And of course Washington doesn't trade him

Dwayne Haskins, QB, Washington Football Team
Washington's second-year quarterback needs to be with a team that believes in him and is willing to put in the work to develop him. Basically, he needs to be in the situation in which the equally erratic Daniel Jones finds himself with the New York Giants. He doesn't have that in Washington and would have benefited from a change of scenery.

Alex Smith questionable to return for Washington, Dwayne Haskins replaces him in second half of Week 14

The Washington Football Team has been forced to make yet another change under center. Alex Smith injured his right leg in the first half of Washington's Week 14 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers, and even left for the locker room early before the conclusion of the second quarter. This is especially worrisome because Smith's right leg is the same one that he severely injured a few years ago that almost cost him his career.

Fox's broadcast crew reported that Smith's injury was specifically a calf injury and that the training staff will continue to work on him to try to loosen up that right leg. With Smith out, second-year quarterback Dwayne Haskins steps in. Haskins started the first four games of the 2020 season and completed 61 percent of his passes for 939 yards, four touchdowns and three interceptions. He was then benched for Kyle Allen, who fractured his ankle against the New York Giants in Week 9, which opened the door for Smith to return.
