QB CJ Stroud (All B1G, 2022 B1G QB of the Year, All-American, NFL OROY, Houston Texans)

Feel bad for CJ. He finally decided to put the team on his back and the defense laid a stinker.
Unfortunately he leaves with only a Rose bowl to his name. Maybe one of the best true QBs the program has had in my lifetime, but always just short.

Tonight the D let him down, but it's hard to not see that as a product of the leader waiting until post season to put out.

Thank you CJ, thank you for everything you've done as a Buckeye. You've taken a lot of negativity from this fan base and came back slinging and smiling. Last night was for everyone frustrated that he doesn't run, make the right read, not show enough emotion, or for any BS that OSU fans have said against him when this kid was a Buckeye through and through. Wish he could've gotten wins in the Game and brought home an NC. But still, an amazing player, leader and phenomenal young man who will be talked about for a very long time!

I never go back and watch a game that the Buckeyes have lost. Ever. In nearly 52 years.

I am going to go back and watch this game to see Stroud's performance again. That was the single best individual performance I have seen from a Buckeye player in a long, long time. When you factor in the stage on which it was played it might be the single best I have ever seen.

Big tip of the cap to the kid. Good to know he has it in him.

Before last night he was already an all time buckeye great. Our fan base can be real shitty, and many were to him.

nobody attacked him as a person or man..we criticized him game. And it was warranted…last night he literally did everything people criticized him on not doing all year. He’s a damn great QB..PS…he beats Michigan this year if he played this exact same style he did last night…but that’s besides the point.lol

Plenty of people attacked him as a person and a man. They questioned his will to win. They asked if he gave a shit. They implied he was playing for himself and not for the team. There was some ugly shit that came out after the TSUN game

100% true and it’s disgusting. Our fan base sucks so often is sickening. All these fan(atics) are gross. Unless you have played with him or know him personally you(in general) are just putting a kid on blast with no basis. When is the last time someone measured your “heart” for winning. Give me a break. One of the great idiotic things said in sports is “they just wanted it more”. BS
