PU have not beaten the Buckeyes in back-to-back meetings since 1960 and 1967.
Since then, following losses to PU:
1968: OSU beats then#2 PU 13-0 (Tatum was the man that day)
1981: After Woody lost his last game against PU by 9 (1978), Earle won his first by 22 (45-33)
1985: After Mike Tomczak threw the ball away on 4th down in West Lafayette in ‘84, the Buckeyes won by two touchdowns in Columbus (41-27)
1989: After losing by 5 to a bad PU team in his first season, Cooper beat them by 18 (21-3) in his second
2001: After Cooper lost his last game against PU by 4, Tressel won his first by 26 (35-9)
2007: The debacle that was the 2004 season included a 7 point loss at PU. Laurinaitis led the ‘07 squad to a 16 point victory (23-7).
2010: After the B1G champion ‘09 Buckeyes lost by 8 in West Lafayette (a game that cost me all of my v$), fans in Columbus (including me) chanted “Get used to it” as the clock wound down on a 49-0 victory.
2012: After Fickell lost his last (only) game vs PU by 3, Kenny Guiton led a comeback, overtime victory (29-22).
To recap:
Ohio State has not lost a revenge game against PU in over 50 years. The only close game was 2012.
When an Ohio State coach has lost his last PU game (Woody, Cooper, and Fickell), the next coach (Earle, Tressel, Meyer) has won his first PU game by more than double the margin. Meyer lost his last by 29, so to keep this meaningless statistical trend going, Day has to win by at least 60. With the sole exception of #hang100, I’ve never hoped for a specific margin of victory more.

I was at that one, so it dates me quite a bit.
The Purdon'ts were all over the place with their two All-Americans.
Yes, Jack had quite a day.
Teddy "The Tree" Provost had an pick-six of Phipps and the unheralded, team player, Billy Long, went sixteen yards on fourth down for the other six.
I was reliably informed by my teammate that the Boiler Band had members who just carried instruments, but did not play, to puff up their numbers.
Leroy Keyes was the other "All-American."
We marched down to the statehouse and back, just like we did after The Game. The CPD was all smiles, too.

Purdue running back Zander Horvath suffered a broken fibula this past weekend, head coach Jeff Brohm confirmed to the media Monday during a press conference. The injury will keep Horvath out for a month or two.
"Zander will have surgery tomorrow on a broken fibula and be out 4-to-8 weeks," Brohm said Monday.

Idk I’m probably wrong but Nebraska made me more nervous than Purdue does. I half expect them to come into the Shoe flat off of the Sparty game.
