Prebuy or buy at the game

If I decide to go to the OHIO v OSU game this fall am I better off pre-buying at face value or taking my chances when I get there?

It is for one ticket.

Hmmmm, don't know too many scalpers interested in selling 1 ticket unless they can get a premium price for it. On the other hand it is OU and there should be a lot of tickets without owners... BUT, this is a year of Great Expectations. If the Bucks bury the 'canes you'll be looking at $30 over face value for anything, including OU, in the South stands.

For the Ohio game I'd bet there will be lots of Buckeyes with extra tickets to sell at a reasonable price.

FWIW, the only time I tried to buy a ticket the day of a game, I got the ticket at face price. (It was the 2008 game against Troy.)
