The Pirates have been around since 1887. They just allowed four home runs in the first inning for the first time in team history.

This might be the worst team they've ever had. It's that bad.

For the first time in franchise history 3 of the first 6 Pirate hitters went yard to start the game. Of all the great players over the years, this shit bunch did it.

Much of the credit has to go to Anthony Desclafani, who must have been serving meatballs out there.

Now let's see if the pitchers can hold a 9 run lead.

Three days ago the Bucs were sitting at 4-17. They had scored 78 runs in 21 games.

So of course they sweep 3 games from Milwaukee and score 24 runs in the process.

Naturally they follow up this performance by being no hit in Chicago by Lucas Giolito.

Surprised it's only the 5th time the Bucs have been no hit in the last 90 years.

Josh Hader came into tonight having not allowed a hit or an earned run. He still hasn't allowed a hit, but he faced 6 Pirates in the 9th and walked 5 of them.

It's a blown save and the Pirates have come from down 5-4 to lead 6-5. They'll probably blow it in the bottom of the 9th.

Too fucking easy. It only took 8 pitches in the bottom of the 9th for the Bucs to lose, 7-6.
