C Zed "Finger Guns" Key (transfer to Dayton)

Well he played a national schedule against some pretty good bigs last season and more than held his own... so anyone who was paying attention felt he might have been underrated, kid can flat out hoop

Rankings have a strong bent towards "potential", particularly pro potential. Obviously what someones potential is can be subjective. Key was likely viewed as a tweener. PF size, C skills/athleticism. He was more college ready than a lot of guys ranked ahead of him because his low post skill set is solid and knows how to play the game (lots of bigs are focusing more on facing and shooting these days). Trevion Williams was not ranked terribly high out of HS either for a lot of the same reasons, being a 6'8" center with average athleticism. Williams grew a bit more and got in better shape from when he was recruited and how he is a load in the post in college, but probably still not a pro.
