Because it stretches when I buy lots of beer. Paper just breaks.

i keep a traditional over the shoulder gym bag/backpack thing with me and have them put the groceries directly in there.

the stores are more than glad to let you store it by the checkout while you shop.

not only does it alieviate the rip/tear problem, but it keeps everything in one hand/shoulder for taking into the house.

we use platic, because nobody seems to have paper...

I shop for groceries once a month... I would rip my arm off if I tried to carry it all in at once... good idea for the small trips though...

I read San Francisco is considering a tax on grocery bags. Something like $.17 a bag. Other countries are now taxing them.

Plastic for me. Great to use when cleaning up the dog crap in the yard.

Not sure that everyone got the joke, but the thread's a joke.

    Carry on.

Donny, we haven't heard from you as to your preference. Pad or tampon?

Now, that's more like it. Cheers, Thump.

Plastic... I like it because it has printing on it that says, "This Bag is not a toy"

I say that to chicks a lot about my johnson.

Then they laugh... but I don't think they're "laughing with me."
