Birm made a really solid comparison to Brenton Cox, who UGA convinced was a 3-4 OLB and not a DE when he flipped his commitment from Ohio State.

Those same SEC schools are trying to sell White on the same 3-4 OLB projection.

Well, Cox didn’t make a splash at OLB at Georgia, transferred, and is now an elite DE at Florida.

If someone is in White’s ear telling him the tale of Brenton Cox, that would probably help out Ohio State’s chances.

He also reminds me of Sam Hubbard, though Hubbard was more of an ATH when he arrived at OSU.
And depending on how JJB’s year goes, he could be used as an example as well

That would be insane and not outside the realm of possibility. Aside from LJ Sr's known track record for developing talent and his recruiting skills, really helps with getting recruits like this that we rotate so many DEs and early in their careers if they put in the work. Guys that are this talented have a great shot at getting on the field right away and we have the results to prove it.
