2021 PA ATH Derrick Davis Jr. (LSU Verbal)

a top 7 will probably be rather unsurprising unless he includes a school like Howard like Korey Foreman did. Starting to hope some of these recruits delay until we get in person visits back going again.

With officials being TBD, I'm surprised closer kids don't just make unofficials on their own dime. Though I don't know the financial situation of many of the families

I don't know all the stipulations, but I'd imagine if the NCAA is blocking all visits to schools, even if the recruits want to visit on their own dime, there are rules put in place about actual contact with coaches, with players, ect.... and on what they can actually see and do on campus during this crazy period. May not even be worth their time unless it's a stones throw away from home.

I hear you, just wondering how there's a way for a family to visit a college campus, and with technology coaches can zoom, snapchat, facetime, etc with them while on campus. Figured that'd be a gray area. But yeah, it's only feasible for close recruits

Right; I think families should be able to consent to in-home visits if schools have strict protocols in place for travel a la car only etc. maybe that sounds dumb?

Yeah Birm went pretty negative there for sure, but he backed up his thoughts with some good logic.
Davis...no because of the 6 DBs OSU already have committed (even though PSU has 6 safeties committed).
Egbuka...yes, but if he goes to Sooner Summit that could change
Tuimoloau...yes, but there is very limited contact with both the recruiting staff and the commits. He's just not social so noone knows.
but his priority remains to be highly drafted and he knows LJ is a sure route there.
R.Davis...no because of no visits
Leigh...no, will join R.Davis at Lsu..again,no visits.
Malone...yes,unless baseball wins out. Birm thinks he trusts LJ more than baseball in the end.

I guess if this holds and we get 3 of these 6 that 50% will do. What do you guys think?

Givler column today said Davis will decide by the end of August. Davis is afraid there will be no more visits this year so he's deciding. Givler seems a little optimistic about OSU in this, but seems like he may be alone on that.
