This hasn't broke nationally yet but will soon. It has been revealed their ace pitcher (they're the number 1 seed) is a registered sex offender and it has been kept confidential (convicted at 15). He failed to re--register--as required--recently and was cited. Thus it entered the public record. There is no doubt Or St. knew. They are notified when any student registers as a sex offender--and he had first registered when he moved here as a freshman.
A whole bunch of questions here--one being Oregon Live publishing all the details of the crime (just to be clear--for the sake of the victim who is only 11). They had not been previously released. The whole thing is a bloody mess.
