Controversial Ole Miss guard Marshall Henderson was at it again over the weekend. Henderson led the Rebels with 21 points, but he needed 21 shots to get there. ... [Henderson] created plenty of controversy along the way by taunting opposing fans and teams at times on the court and a care-free attitude off it. He added one final chapter to his season in the spotlight by giving the finger (with both hands) to someone in the crowd as he headed to the locker room after the game. Reporters asked him about it afterward. ... "@DannyParkins: I asked Marshall Henderson why he flipped off the crowd: "someone yelled that my sister is a w---- and said something about cocaine."

It doesn't matter what anyone yells at you, when you are on a college team (especially on the court in uniform) you represent the school and have to maintain a "higher standard".

On a side note, he gave an interview the other day where he said he was "tired of playing for free and was ready to get paid." Better thicken up that skin some if you think fans are any nicer to professional athletes.
http://buckeyextra.dispatch.com/con...6/florida-gulf-coast-awash-in-excitement.htmlStudents at La Salle, a Catholic university in Philadelphia, rushed the court on Sunday at Tom Gola Arena, where they had watched the 13th-seeded Explorers beat Mississippi on a big TV screen.
Who can blame them?
The last time the Explorers got this far, the NCAA Tournament didn’t even have a round of 16. Gola, a three-time All-American, led the program to the NCAA championship game in 1954 and 1955. The Explorers won the title in 1954 and then, after 1955, almost nothing. In fact, La Salle won more tournament games in the past week than it had in the past
58 years.
“We talked all week about the great La Salle tradition,” coach John Giannini said. “When you come in, you want to bring that back. These guys are doing it right before our eyes.”
