First ever title. This is fantastic. Strange to have my eyes well up watching the coaches and girls celebrate.

There's no place like Ohio State!

I think it's great that Gene Smith is there. Would've been easy to just go to the basketball tourney in Pittsburgh. He's out there on the ice with the girls.

Easy call in my eyes: team playing for a national championship versus an underdog playing to get out of the second round. Now build Nadine (and the men) a proper fucking hockey barn, and I'll start giving Gene credit for supporting the hockey programs.

The pedster student section is pathetic. They had all their anti-buckeye signs from the regular season taped to the window. It looked like the window of a third grade classroom before Halloween when the teacher tapes up all the finger paintings of pumpkins and skeletons.

The updated list of different sports in which tOSU has won an official NCAA National Title:

Men’s Basketball
Men’s Baseball
Men’s Wrestling
Men’s Volleyball
Men’s Gymnastics
Men’s Golf
Men’s Outdoor Track & Field
Men’s Swimming & Diving
Men’s Fencing (when separate)
Men’s Football (CFB Playoff, not a regular NCAA Event)

Fencing (combined)
Pistol (combined)

Women’s Rowing
Women’s Hockey

And an unofficial 32 National Titles in Synchronized Swimming, which is not an NCAA Event,

I’m guessing that Stanford (looks like they have 20), USC, and UCLA have more different sports with National Titles, but they might be the only ones.
