Thinking a 4-9 point win gets us the #5.6 seed

A 15+ point win could even get us to the 3.14 seed still! The team and everyone needs to be ready to play or they'd likely be a negative-8 seed in my bracket.

Go Musketeers!
Happy Pi Day!

Hopefully that first game knocked off some of the shooting rust, but we know who this team is at this point. They need to have one of their decent shooting games and Craft/Scott need to limit their silly mistakes to have a chance in this one.

This is not the same Nebraska team, that we faced back in January. And Ohio State is far away from the way they started out to be
We just don't know what Buckeye team will show up for each game anymore. It sure is a mystery to me, to see some of the things they try to pull, in an effort, just to try and get a simple 2 point shot or lay-up. One thing about this team is, they sure are full of surprises.

The Buckeyes did not appreciate the court storming at Lincoln when they lost and Matta is tired of all the court storming when the opponent beats Ohio State.
Nebraska stormed the court after beating Ohio State 68-62 in Lincoln on Jan. 20. The Cornhuskers and their fans were excited. Turns out the Buckeyes were a bit peeved.
“Obviously when you lose a game, you definitely want payback, and storming the court makes you want payback that much more,” Lenzelle Smith Jr. said Thursday. “Being escorted back to our locker room, a fan bumped into our coach, and he’s already having a hard time trying to get by, and when you think about stuff like that, they don’t really care for him. That just makes us a little bit more angry and gives us more reason to fight.”

So basically, bump our coach, and it’s on. Thad Matta does have leg problems that stem from a back injury. And Matta also has grown weary of court stormings this year after some big road losses by the Buckeyes.

“I know we lead the country in court stormings. We’ve been court stormed more this year than I’ve ever been court stormed,” Matta said.

*rant on*

The only thing dumber than court storming are rules about court storming. It's not necessary for fans to EVER run on the court and it's a matter of time before a melee ensues.

We better put on our Sparty game from last Sunday or this could get very ugly. We just cannot play like we did yesterday. That was embarrassing. I would rather have Smith Jr. or Thompson take a shot from the outside rather than winding down the shot clock to under 10 and have To have Craft put down his head and try and drive to the bucket. Sometimes that works but often times it does not.

The three point line has virtually killed the mid range jumper in the minds of many players. That's a shame because sometimes that is the best shot available and usually you'll make more of those than three balls. Instead, teams pass the ball around looking for a three or try to force it to the rim when a pull up jumper from 12-15 feet is the best option.
