Too soon old, too late smart
Gotta love it. TSC leading the cheers for 'his' team coming up. We've had some great leadership shown over the years, going back to the Brew Crew, and each year someone steps up. Don't forget the 'silent' cheerleaders, the Moms of past and future players for S&G. The mom-to-mom network is very strong, as all moms want the very best for their child, and in this case, past performance is an indicator of future performance.

This is a kid living his childhood dream, while working his tail off to improve his game and also get the best talent to Columbus with him. He is off the charts in talent, discipline, loyalty, and wanting to win. Great family, great coaching. This is the exact recruit you want to come here on every item of a checklist you could conceive.

Jumped up 26 spots on Rivals and earned his 5th star. #11 in the Nation. I believe that makes him a consensus 5*.

I laughed because I thought the same thing, but TSC is currently rated a decent bit higher than Zwick was in the days. TSC is #2 overall on 247 as well. Maybe you have to back to Schlicter for a similarly touted Ohio QB? Hard to say though because they didn't even have rankings back then...maybe they did, but I wasn't alive.
Regardless, TSC must have been as good as advertised so far this offseason to those who aren't biased like me. This meteoric rise in rankings even surpasses Stroud and before anyone says it, no I'm making no comparisons at all there other than soaring up the rankings.
