If Hartline and Gonzo had worn the same jersey number, you wouldn't be able to tell their highlight reels apart. It's great that we've had two outstanding possession receivers back to back. They're an invaluable asset to the team.

I was going to mention something similar in the regard that Brian has to become that Gonzo type player fully this season. We need him on every play if we are going to get over the hump and win the NC. Beanie, Robiskie, Nicol/Ballard and Hartline. We are going to need them on every play in every big game, not to mention Boeckman.

Hartline and Gonzo brought a very similar skill set to the #2 WR position. The edge that Gonzo had was Teddy as the #1. Robo is a fine #1, but Teddy's speed forced opponents to double up on him. That opened up the underneath routes that Gonzo thrived on. Also the quick slant from Smith to Gonzo was like clockwork. I'd like to see Boecks and Hartline work that play out.

It looked as if they were timing that route out in the spring. Hopefully, that all carries over in the fall and the safeties wont be able to cheat up on that slant with Robo in the game and Beanie in the backfield.

Robo doesn't bring Teddy's speed to the table but I expect he'll help open up things for the other receivers this year.
