Thing is the bookies have two things going against them --
lots of Tejas Hubris cash based on
1 NC in 2005, and
years in which Texas simply trounced N. Texas by scorelines that make the spread look miniature (HO scale miniature that is). Of course, that was with Young.
Who has gone.

I think they will beat just b/c of the fact that qbs will have a couple mistakes and keep the score down.

Limas Sweed just scored on a long catch-and-run on the third play from scrimmage. Colt McCoy started, for those who care. We're not gonna see anything from Texas in this game that the Bucks can use next week.

Texas just forced a 3-and-out, but the punt appeared to graze the return man as it bounced past the return man. UNT recovers deep in Texas territory.

UNT took it inside the Texas 10 yard line, got forced into a FG, and Texas blocked it.

How does their offense look so far? McCoy seems to be hitting his receivers. Impressive or inferior opposition?

I agree. I don't think will be able to tell anything from this game unless Texas makes more mistakes like the personal foul and muffed punt return.
