Most Boring Part of your job

iambrutus

Screw Blue
Today our comany is hosting abut 60 people for 3 meetings at a local hotel. Since I work in IT, i am sitting outside of the presentations (using free wireless) just incase something breaks. SO, what is the most boring part of your job?

And X, dont say working with me....we all know that you love me and miss me right now.

Sitting at the computer all day long. I'm not the inside type person, I'd rather be outside getting dirty and fixing things. I'll be there someday but for now I have to put in my dues per se and wait until a position in the field becomes available.

The weekly meetings I have. One of them is boring beyond words, and I sit right at my bosses left.

Good grief....zzzzzz...

The answer to the question "what is the biggest pain in the ass part of my job" is a quite different answer though...

The endless meetings. I usually have to sit through 2-5 staff meetings a week and listen to people discuss topics that could easily have been covered in an email. What a waste of time.

I'd write more, but I have another meeting in 10 minutes. Oh the joy of it all....

indeed meeting are a true pain in the ass. We have 1 department meeting (4 peolpe) every monday and then each of us has an individual meeting with the boss. Most of the information exchanged could easily be sent in an email!

Actually the worst part of my job is when the annoying bitch across from me feels the need to talk to me about her job. I wish I could just tell her to shut the hell up because I don't give a flying f--- what she does. Sometimes I just want to smack her around when she starts using the words seen and yous in conversations. :smash:

To bad they all can't be like my mom. I can't picture her speaking in a room of more than 5 people unless they are under the age of 15.

we have a new lady that is a float right now, she will be working on a project and then just start talking, and we dont know who she is acutally talking to, most of the time we think she is just talking to herself. SHe is one of these rich old bitches that only works because she is bored, would love to just run her over with a mack truck :pissed: :teeth:

I've got to chime in on the meetings thing. I've got two business review meetings per month, and a global review once per month. Both are total snoozers.

The culture here is to be meeting-happy. Everybody has meetings for virtually any subject.
