MARYLAND AT OHIO STATE – SATURDAY, OCT. 9

All-time series: Ohio State leads 6-0

College football was, obviously, altered a lot last year because of COVID-19. One of the impacts that the virus had throughout the year was games needing to be canceled or postponed when teams had outbreaks on their rosters and did not have enough players to play. This led to Ohio State's game with Maryland being canceled, as there was a massive outbreak within the program at Maryland. This year, though, Mike Locksley and Taulia Tagovailoa get their shot at trying to take down the Buckeyes.

Just sayin': The 2018 2OT game at Maryland was sure no "cake walk".

Another Big Noon Saturday. Absolutely shocked it isn't Penn State at Iowa.

I think we're getting the Big Noon window (opposite the Red River Rivalry on ABC), because we'll draw opposite that game better, and so that Penn St/Iowa at 4:00 PM will draw better.

The downside is that with the 12:00-4:00 programming block, FOX is free to stuff an extra half-hour of commercials into the broadcast. The TV timeouts are the absolute worst thing about this scheduling window.

Hey, remember when they tattled on Chase Young two years? Also, remember when they dodged the Buckeyes last year on some COVID bullshit?

Well, I haven’t forgotten their treachery. I think a good compounding of the ass-pumping they just received from Iowa is in order. Fuck ‘em.

I hope that Demus will be OK after he got hurt Friday night returning a kickoff against Iowa.

Can’t believe he’ll be able to play against the Buckeyes, based on how ugly that looked, but hopefully it won’t impact his future too much, he had a big year going at WR.
