Louisville is #67 in scoring defense (27.3 ppg) and #79 in total defense (411.33 ypg). WVU's offense is #9 in scoring (40.75 ppg) and #13 total (470.88 ypg). I think 50+ points for WVU is not out of the question...

WVU's defense is also #6 in scoring (14.9 ppg). Louisville's offense is #18 in scoring (37.00 ppg) and #6 total (510.44 ypg). WVU has given up 20+ points three times (24, 23, 21), and since Louisville is the best offenese they've seen to date, I'll say UL scores 24-27 points.

Scores of anywhere from 45-27 to 52-24 in favor of WVU seem likely in my mind, so I'd agree...

So WV is a better offense than Louisville has faced so they'll score more than Louisville has given up all year, but The best offense WV has faced will not outscore Western Michigan?

Look at my score ranges. 24-27 for Louisville...three of the four guesses (25, 26, 27) are more than West Mich's 24. Also, the West Mich game was WVU's season opener...I think the Mountaineer defense has probably improved over the course of the season. Lastly, Louisville's scoring has dropped off markedly since the start of the season (28, 17, 24 points in last three games after averaging 44 points a game in their first six games). Louisville's offense has regressed while WVU's defense has progressed.
