I bought a Samsung 46" LCD TV back in January.

Never had a lick of trouble with it until last night.

Now, things that should be white are this pinkish purple pixelated color.
More of a problem on brighter whites.

Anyone have any suggestions?

The feller from Samsung won't be here until sometime next week, meaning I'd have to watch the LSU/Redneck Pricks game with a shitty image.

Are you sitting closer than before?

I know some Plasmas have a Purple and Pink flicker to their intense blacks and whites when viewed upclose. I have a Samsung Plasma that does this...

I have never heard of it on an LCD though. Applying basic electronic troubleshooting (not sure how well Aircraft electronics troubleshooting will work here) I would look at a bad power source to be affecting the Pixels ability to achieve full color. White means all the Pixels are active at full intensity. Try turning down the brightness and contrast to diminish the power load on the pixels... second maybe the computer is going bad when trying to calculate color levels, which is just not fixable at the user level - techie will have to deal with that...

FINALLY!!!
My TV issues shall be resolved in 14-21 days (meaning AFTER the LSU/UF game:(). However, since the part I need is on indefinite backorder, they are delivering a NEW TV to my house!!1!!!one!!!!!6!!W!!
And since my TV is now a discontinued model, they do not have one like it to give me. Soooo, I'm getting an upgrade at NO CHARGE!!:groove3:

Congratulations on your good (albeit delayed) fortune.
