That is my opinion yes. Coaches are not infallible. There is a HUGE chance that had Teague not suffered a concussion, we would not have had Trey Sermon going off the past two games either. I have complained to my son all year that I thought Sermon was way better than Teague too yet we watched Teague start every week and get the majority or snaps. My belief is that Williams is also a better back than Teague.

I just all em like a I see them. I watch Tuf and I watch Hilliard. To me, there is no comparison. One guy makes a ton of plays yet isn't on the field a fourth of the snaps.

Love this man. Since his first Spring Game he showed he's a freaking heat seeking missile that Chris Spielman is likely proud of. See ball, get ball Every single play he's around it and sometimes thats even 20 yards downfield but more often its at the line of scrimmage or behind it. Playmaker from the second he steps between the sidelines. One more big one please

Do you know how hard it is to go to a new program and learn a new system? And no spring practices due to Covid didn’t help Sermon get acclimated with his teammates; he even said so.

As for Hilliard, we are all glad he is having an awesome year. May be having a defensive “quarterback” in there knowing how to help others getting in the right position to make plays is paying off.

I am not buying it. Hilliard has been around for six years, he absolutely does not have to have Borland on the field telling him jack shit.

Same for Sermon. RB is one of the easiest positions to learn. Even if that was the case, the simple fact is that Teague was still starting against NW and would have played the majority of the snaps like he was doing up until he was injured. Sermon would not have gotten has many carries or snaps had Teague not gotten hurt, and that has absolutely zero to do with missing spring practice, getting acclimated with his team mates, or any other non sense.

Everyone has their opinion and is entitled to their own. Mine is that Tuf is not one of the three best LBs on the team and hurts our chances to win. You can have your opinion. I may be wrong, you may be right, but I am not changing my opinion.

As for trusting the coaches, I wouldn't trust Bill Davis to coach my bulldog how to take a piss. Not all coaches are correct all of the time.

Edit - and please do not lecture me on Washington being the LB coach, I am giving an example of a clown of a coach. I could have also used Everett Withers.

I agree though... I think our best 3 are Werner/Hilliard/Browning but IMO Tuf gives us direction and he's probably the best inside and at MLB. Sometimes you just cant put your best 3 out there. We will find out next year provided he doesnt come back but I have a feeling he will.

Like I said, you can have your opinion, I have mine. But for some reason I am not supposed to state mine?

I may not be Vince Lombardi but I did play RB in college, so I do have a little idea how long it takes to learn a new system in college. And I have coached at one of the winningest high schools in Ohio. That doesn't mean I know it all, but yeah I played and coached, and I made some mistakes on playing kids and figured it out late. So you can act like I am a key board warrior or whatever and don't know what I am talking about, that is fine.

Maybe you can state your football background? For all I know you are Urban Meyer.

I just hate to see a kid go through what Justin has gone through, persereve, and then not see the field when he deserves to. He was incredible against NW and made play after play and seemed to win the game for us on that side of the ball. Then I watch vs Clemson, and the second play of the game Tuf is trying to cover Etienne man to man and gets burnt. Hilliard never gets in until the third series and immediately makes plays only to get back to the sideline. It just isn't right. The best players should play. You can believe Tuf is the best player. That is fine. I am not going to tell you to shut up.
