I was looking through Buckeye Planet, and didn't see any threads devoted to this. But watching the Fiesta Bowl a couple days ago, and listening to all the commentary, I think there needs to be a thread on just the stupid things that Keith Jackson has said about Ohio State football, or in general. He makes it sound like he knows what he's talking about though. Here is one of my favorites from the 2003 Fiesta Bowl.


"He looks for nothing...and he finds nothing."

As Maurice Clarett runs for no gain early in the game.
 
I was watching an old bowl game on ESPN Classic a few weeks ago. It was from the early to mid-'80's. I can't even tell you who was playing in it, but KJ was announcing. It wasn't late in the game or a pivotal moment at all. But one team scored and happened to miss the extra point.

KJ's response: ....Aaaaannnd he misses it. So, they come away from this possession with nothing........except six points......

The funniest moment is when Kressel (I mean Krenzel...Jackson made that mistake at a different time) misses a screen pass to Clarett. Keith exclaims, "Almost intercepted!" Except there wasn't a Hurricane even around the ball.
