Jahsen Wint and Amir Riep FOUND NOT GUILTY

I don’t know anything about bail amounts and how they relate to a case but why the higher amount for Riep? If anything, he was most likely to have had consensual sex with the victim. There’s a much greater chance that Wint never received consent, no?

Violated the woman's trust more? Was actually told to stop whereas maybe Wint wasn't in the room when she actually said that? Was the one laughing at her (if I recall the allegations accurately)?

Maybe so and you could be right. Again, I don’t know. But laughing at her is a drop in the bucket. They both forced themselves on her so laughing at that point is nothing compared to their actions. It just seems odd, I guess that the bail amounts are different.

“Mr. Wint, you’re accused of raping a girl but we don’t have any evidence where you thought it was funny so your bail is less.”

What they both did think was that it was okay and there is the real problem.

perhaps someone's already commented about this, but one thing i found particularly discomforting is that, according to the alleged victim, either wint or riep told her to take a shower before she was driven home. so they recorded her "consenting" statement and had her wash off a lot of the evidence. sounds like they had... uh... experience.
Yea, I have a lot of questions but things do look bad for them with the video.

Did Wint just bust through the door like the Kool-Aid man and Riep asks him to just join in? Weird stuff.

It's ok. If there wasn't something deeply, fundamentally wrong with you then you wouldn't be here with the rest of us.

There is almost zero chance that a thread begins on BP about even the most serious, offensive and un-funny thing you can imagine without someone trying to crack a joke (for generally good reasons).

BP is one of the last bastions of free speech and why I dutifully pay up my $77 a month.
Shoulda got in on the $49.95 special like me.
