LOL... funny to see Bennett Academy getting torched in that video.

Anyhow, looks like a big arm kid. Soph in HS he's got time to work on a bit of a quicker release. Seems to have good pocket awareness... but I'm not sure about some of the competition he faced. Looks like his line either gave him all day to throw or they rolled him out of the pocket for a nice throw on the run.

Intrigued.

Former Ohio State quarterback target J.J. McCarthy committed to Michigan on Saturday. Why is that news? Because the Buckeyes could have had McCarthy if they wanted, but they ultimately landed Philadelphia quarterback Kyle McCord instead.

The decision to bring in Kyle McCord, knowing full well it would likely send McCarthy in the direction of the Wolverines, could shape the future of the greatest rivalry in sports for the foreseeable future. Day and the Buckeyes had the first pick and first shot for McCarthy and went in a different direction.

I think that J.J. will be an exemplary Michigan Man.
