It’s not the end of the world, because I do agree Stud is decent at developing guys. If they miss out on Goodwin, as I’ve said elsewhere, I feel like he really needs to buckle down and find another true OT though.

Wagner has a prototypical tackle body, but it sounds like he’s going to need a few years similar to NPF. A lot of the other guys they’re recruiting listed as OTs project at guard. If they don’t find another guy this year, then in my opinion depth gets a little concerning a few years from now.

I find it hard to believe someone as focused as he has been on totally transforming his body will chose a school that doesn’t match that same track record of development, etc.

This dude has been very disciplined and seems to be locked in on maximizing his potential and I just can’t see a guy like that choosing a school that doesn’t match that same standard but who knows.

The reason why almost all kids go to schools that cant compete for titles, immediate PT. And also in Goodwins cases I'm sure the UK staff are selling HARD the location of Lexington to his hometown of Lousiville and his mom being able to see more often. He seems like quite the "momas boy", not an insult, just an observation from past interviews

Might not be his final destination, but Birm all but confirming he’s headed to Kentucky next week.

There’s no doubt that Ohio State, Alabama, Clemson and Michigan State are going to keep recruiting Kiyaunta Goodwin.

Just sayin': It will be interesting to see if he still takes visits to other schools. Regardless, it is still a long time off until 15 - 17 Dec 2021 (Division I Football (Early Period) and a lot can change/happen between now and then.

I don't have complaints about how he's coached them up. But the goal at tOSU is to win NCs and as we saw against Bama, you have to be close to elite at every position group. If he can't bring in the top depth that the other top schools do, it will cost us. Just a reality of the situation. I definitely acknowledge the success he's had. Just saying his recruiting is lacking a bit by the high standards at Ohio State
Got NPF 3 years ago, Harry 2 years ago and PJ 1 year ago. Stud is doing a really good job and this talk about striking out too much is kind of nonsense to me. He's getting like 1 5 star and the rest 4 stars every single year guys.

Side note and I've been saving this in case he doesn't come here but I was not a fan of that video a few pages ago where he was holding kids and then rag dolling them to the ground. Something about the video bothered me and his loss if he's afraid of some competition.

That's the reason anyone chooses UK over Bama or OSU if either of those schools want a kid. IMO move on something doesn't seem right here.

Even if he does sign with UK, I could certainly see him in the transfer portal at some point. That is... unless he really does value being minutes closer to home as a big fish in a tiny pond over being developed at an elite level for The League. I just don't understand the logic

Good luck to you at UK, Kiyaunta

I feel like you completely ignored my other posts. He's good for 1-2 blue chippers per year. The others are typically of the 3-star to low 4-star category. I'm open to being proven wrong

Quick reminder: the OL is made up of 5 positions, not 1 to 2. I know that's snarky, but in this case I think it's warranted
