A visit to Ohio State definitely impressed the 2024 four-star offensive tackle from New Palestine, Ind., as the atmosphere stood out, the fans never stopped being electric and the message from coach Ryan Day is that the Buckeyes cannot slow down because teams all across the country are getting upset each week. A visit to Wisconsin happens this weekend for Moore, who could then be ready to make his commitment soon.

  • Ian Moore, 2024 offensive tackle target: “I had a great time. I met a lot of great fans and parents that told me all about OSU. They played great. They did really good against the big guys Wisconsin has on its defensive front. I got to talk to Luke Montgomery a bit and he was asking where I was in the recruiting process. I’m going to Wisconsin next weekend and in the coming weeks after that, I’ll make my decision.”

Strong chance we see this domino fall for our '24 class and have our elite OT locked up for the cycle. Putting a clinic on Wisconsin and our OL looking so good only helps us as Moore winds down his recruitment. Fingers crossed, but we seem to be sitting pretty here.

Funny that you mention Wisconsin, because on one of the Buckeye podcasts, they mentioned that when the game ended, Chryst went straight to Carson Hinzman and shook his hand and said he made he good decision. Speaks highly of Frye

Pnuts, missed that podcast, but surprised that any coach would go to a recruit and offer anything but good luck, let alone a 'glad you chose someone else' comment. Also glad to see Frye is accepted as being a good/great OL coach. As I said somewhere, this year will cause the elite OL candidates that tOSU finally has a very good teacher of linemen, and what our guys are showing this year is on the cusp of being great. Ergo the best linemen will give tOSU a much harder look. Still opine that we have some very serviceable guys, but maybe not as elite as say a Bama is roping in. Here's hoping. We've got a great RB room, QB room, and of course the WR room is outstanding. Love to see the OL reach those levels.......also Knowles is putting the pieces (mostly already in uniform) together in a manner that stops other people's offenses. With Coach J saying he's here for foreseeable future, can visualize the DL staying at, and/or getting more filthy rich. Love the place tOSU team is, and gonna be over the next few....Go Bucks!

May Frye become the OL equivalent of Hart to Receivers. There… I said it.
