Consider it superiority or consider Wilson’s name as HC because of his disciplinary/injury discrections at IU. He’s a toxic name for those that may care.

Day is currently in isolation after news of his positive test. In his place is assistant head coach and defensive line coach Larry Johnson, who is set to serve as the team's interim head coach on Saturday against the Illini.

Per Big Ten COVID-19 guidelines, coaches must isolate for ten days after a positive test. So, that means it’s possible Day could miss next week’s game vs. Michigan State as well.

“I have spoken with coach Day, and he is doing well physically,” athletic director Gene Smith said in the press release. “I feel terrible for Coach and for the members of the program who have been diagnosed with a positive test. Coach Day and this team have been true leaders in handling things so well throughout this pandemic. Our team wants to play this game, and we’re going to do everything we can to help make this happen. All of the decisions on the welfare of our student-athletes and staff members will continue to be guided by our medical staff.”

RYAN DAY'S IMPRESSIVE STREAK
After winning three regular-season games in 2018 and 12 last year, coupled with the four so far in 2020, Ryan Day has a 19-0 record in the regular season as Ohio State's head coach.

Urban Meyer won 24 straight regular-season games to begin his Ohio State tenure, and Day could have passed that in a normal 2020 campaign.

Alas, we now will have to wait until next year to see if he can do it, as the Buckeyes will not play five more regular-season games in 2020.

Ohio State football coach Ryan Day returned from his coronavirus isolation as scheduled on Monday.

A program spokesman confirmed Day was back at his Woody Hayes Athletic Center office Monday. That was the first day the second-year coach was eligible to return after his positive COVID-19 test less than two weeks ago.

Coaches who test positive must follow CDC guidelines, which mandate a 10-day isolation and being symptom-free for 24 hours prior to returning. Players who test positive must refrain from competition for 21 days, per Big Ten protocols, and go through more intensive cardiac screenings and other medical evaluations.

The 2nd and 2 play call wherein a pass was called which resulted in an incomplete pass; ensuing 3rd and 2 resulted in a delay of game which resulted in a whatever the fuck:

I normally wouldn’t take issue with the call but given the facts prior to that specific play (Sermon averaging 37 YPC, Fields looking like absolute trash)
