Saw31

High Seas Rogue
It looks like tOSU is going to use the 'Good Cop. Bad Cop.' tactic in the media to fight this. If the quotes I'm hearing from AG are correct, he's sharpening his language towards bspn and he should. JT continues his 'I'll speak ill of no-one' stance which I also think is good.

AG--"They (NCAA investigators) identified 17 areas where (Clarett) didn't tell the truth. . . . They are willing to add to the list.'' Also, according to bspn, AG said--"ESPN uses colossal failures for sources." or something to that affect.

I like seeing AG go on the offensive a little. Why shouldn't bspn have to answer a few questions as well? If you go after an institution like tOSU, you better be prepared for the fight and pointing some fingers back at bspn, and their motives is, IMO, legitimate. If tOSU has it's own media consultants for this fiasco, I think maybe they should be given a raise, because I think this is a very good strategy. Let AG show the anger, allowing JT to continue to be JT. When fighting the media, you obviously must use the media. I wonder if there's any other media outlets (FoxSports) who might like to see bspn get knocked down a few rungs?

Inviting the NCAA back to Columbus goes a long way in showing tOSU has nothing to hide. Very good move IMO.

I agree. Open the books, let 'em have at it. But then, sue Clarett and the journalists involved in their personal capacities for defamation, irregardless of whether you can win it because of the "being public figures" issue.
