Georgia Bulldogs (2021-2022 National Champions)

I was a having a convo with a cousin of mine who's a UGA alum/former player in the 80's. He was trying to puff his chest out over the SEC, and it got me thinking. And I had to tell him, UGA may be one of the most overrated programs in all of CFB. They lead the list of teams with immense talent, only to do nothing with it every year! The fact that they squeaked by a UC team filled with 3 star kids and lower, is all you need to know about the UGA program. On paper UGA has equivalent talent to teams like Bama and OSU, and I would argue has more talent than Clemson, yet they only have been able to reach the SEC championship 5 times since 2010. I'd even argue that Smart is just Mark Richt 2.0. UGA alum are all over the NFL, and they can't even dominate the SECE. GA has some of the highest amount of talent in the country and hasn't won an NC since 1980, that's insane!

Don't do it friend. My pain is my own and this fandom is my cross to bare.
We kid because we care :biggrin2:
But I'm a closet UGA fan myself. My cousin actually played on that 1980 NC team and works in the office helping players after graduation. But I still have to give him $hit

Other than Mark Richt telling his team to go get unsportsmanlike penalties against Florida in... maybe 2007... I have no reason to dislike Georgia any more than anyone else in the SEC. And BigWoof31 hasn't stolen my lunch money, yet, so I guess he's alright, in my book.

During his days coaching the Florida Gators, current Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Urban Meyer became very familiar with the Georgia Bulldogs, as they were one of his biggest rivals. Years later and not even in college football anymore, Meyer still appears to have some disdain for Georgia in his heart.

During the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft, Meyer drafted Georgia Tech wide receiver Jalen Camp to join the team. When Meyer called Camp to inform him he was being picked by Jacksonville, Meyer took a shot at the Bulldogs, starting the call by saying to Camp “to hell with Georgia, right?”

You can see video of the interaction between Meyer and his new receiver below.
