PROUD Paul Croft got a tattoo of Harry Potter wizard Albus Dumbledore on his back but is now being teased by pals after he was outed as gay.
Proud Paul, 36, spent a year having the Hogwarts headmaster etched into his skin as a surprise for his five kids. But the factory worker has been the butt of jokes ever since Harry Potter author JK Rowling revealed last week that Dumbledore was in love with a fellow male sorcerer.
Paul, of Nottingham, moaned yesterday: "It's been terrible. I've always liked Dumbledore - just not in that way.
"I went into work and everyone was sniggering.

Seriously though, who gets a tattoo of a fictional character as a gift for other people?

Seriously though, who is so incredibly insecure in their own sexuality that a fictional character's possibility of gayness is something that bothers him when ignorant asses tease him about it?

    Let's review.....

There's this series of books... they're about a wizard who has to defeat an evil wizard who killed his parents. The young wizard is watched over by a wise powerful wizard. The wise wizard's sexuality is never an issue in any of the main or tangential story lines.... The series is 7 books long. The last book has been written, and the series is over. Interest wanes.... author breaks a story that a key character was gay... even though, again, the sexuality of this character played NO role ever..... Even notes that various churches - some of which are already put out about the popularity of this witching community - will get their habits in a bunch.... I'm calling Bullshit. It's "keep me relevant" schtick, plain and simple.

Of course, it would have probably been easier for me just to say who fucking cares. It's not like Dumbledore was trying to marry Snape or some shit.

Nah it's not like there is another unmarried bachelor who lives by the castle near the forbidden forest and calls his dog "Fluffy"

Yeah, never understood the point of Rowling "outing" this character. I have no interest in Harry Potter, and never have, it just seemed odd and a bad move marketing-wise considering the prevailing feeling towards anything considered "gay" when it comes to kids/teens and even adults as we are seeing here.

Yeah, and the tattoo itself is ridiculous, so the ridicule he is getting because of his now "gay status" as a character should be the least of his concerns.

Maybe in the deleted scenes from the final movie there will be some cock-on-cock action between Harry and Dumbledore?
