Mykel Williams • Georgia
Another 6-foot-5, 255-pound defensive end, Williams fits the profile of the big, versatile lineman that Larry Johnson is seeking. The Columbus (Ga.) Hardaway star was offered by the Buckeyes in May after a first-team all-state selection as a sophomore. He holds 23 offers early from the likes Alabama, Clemson, Georgia and LSU — and like most major prospects from the Peach State, it will require a pretty valiant effort on the recruiting trail to take him from the southern powerhouses.
