Man 06 looks like a living bitch of a schedule for a team that will be breaking in a lot of new faces.

Also, how much you want to bet that '09 @ WSU gets moved elsewhere, maybe even sold back to C'bus. Just makes no financial sense for anyone to play that game in Pullman.

I love the fact that we have the opportunity to play against the top teams in the country. With the Big 10 being as tough as it is, I am sure the Buckeyes could get away with playing a weak nonconference schedule, but then I think you run the risk of coming in third like Auburn did this year. No way are the Buckeyes not one of the top two teams in the country if they go undefeated against those teams. How great is it going to be to see Texas, USC, and Miami (FL.) in the Horseshoe ? I hope all three will be night games.:osu4:

From what we've seen from Tressel's teams, we seem to show up big time for early season challenges. We decimated WSU, Washington, scUM (last year, biggest underdog challenge in his 4 years), etc. Now I know it won't necessarily always be that successful, but I am usually more worried about the "little games" (purdue, wisconsin, purdue, northwestern, cincinatti, etc).

On another note, IMO by the time Miami rolls around, I think they'll have slipped further than they have thus far.

i love the idea. we always play well against big teams early in the year.

Probably that tOSU will continue to put one of the top teams in the country on the field that will compete with anybody.
dead on. *shrug* perhaps we got tired of hearing about these other teams having pansy schedules and decided to do something about it.
