Freeman redshirt blah - split from Homan thread

yes ,he was hurt but, he could have returned to play as it was reported several times during the season. I loved the fact he got redshirted for that.

And his contribution would have been minimal with Hawk/Schleigel/Carpenter last year. Freeman was redshirted because it was not necessary to waste a full year of eligibility to play mop-up duty on less than half the games last year, not because, as you seem to suggest, he told reporters that he could've returned.

it was a known fact he would have challenged Carpenter and he wouldn't be just a mop-up player. It was reported by other sites he could have returned a lot faster rather then what the staff thought at first.

How do I seem what was reported a bunch of times. i NEVER SEEN or heard him say anything about that injury.

Are you nuts? I'm sure he is a good player, but Carpenter is a huge on field leader and was the #18 pick in the draft, no way he was getting challenged...Freeman could have played, but having time on the field isn't exactly pushing a star LBer

read some other notes before, you sound like a kid on a pc
I don't know about any notes, whatever you mean by that, but I noticed a couple of your posts in this thread that I read:
Freeman did last year and could have been the 1st option or split time with one of the stars.
Which is fairly reasonable, I don't know so much about your definition of "splitting time" but sure, if Freeman was healthy/on the field the LBers could have taken some more breaks, so I don't really disagree with that

This is the part I disagree with, the first part of course points out that someone who didn't even see the field could have challenged a senior, team leader, and someone who had a hell of a season and ended up as a first round pick...and the biggest problem is not that you present it as a possibility, but instead a known fact, and I don't know of many other people that seem to know about it

The second part I don't really understand because the grammar is awful, but I think you are saying he was healthy, which I suppose could be right.

Also, this is my last non-Homan post in this thread, I'd rather not mess it up any more

I've read some reports from the team, and can also speculate what to do that situation. The staff felt they could win without burning Freeman's redshirt late in the year, and they were right. As for the weak attempt at an insult, I don't think you have room () to insult someone else's posting style.

Just because you didn't hear about injury doesn't mean it wasn't true. And you certainly don't know more about that than the coaching staff.

Secondly, you can't just come in and challenge one of the best LBs in the game after an injury. It takes time to get acclimatized and get back to the original strength.

I am assuming you mean acclimated here? lol.
