WR Brandon Inniss (Official Thread)

Hard to beat Brian Hartline right now even if a kid is from the south or Cali. Just listen to the NFL guys on how polished the Buckeye WR's are and how well they do their jobs. That trickle down is reaching all other trainers and coaches for these kids and every year he just keeps them churning into the league and they outperform their peers all over the place. The Saints are a Buckeye showcase every week now and Olave + Thomas is going to be unstoppable. Inniss sees this all happening I guarantee it so it's going to come down to money now or more money later.

Hell look at Johnie Dixon tear up the USFL! A guy who could've ended his football career before even graduating from OSU is also a pro and ballin! And once Parris Campbell gets healthy than that's another WR talent that Hartline developed into a true WR as well.

dudes legs are ridiculous. High School kids are already grown now

With a number of them having trainers, involved in camps and 7 on 7 teams, conditioning is year round. And I'm sure the school he's at has special programs for the football team for conditioning. STA isn't your normal HS, I think I read where they had more alum from their school in the NFL than most states!

He's also on SFE and that's some of the finest athletes in USA every year
a number of their coaches played for SFE and played in the NFL
Head coach is Brett Goetz
who was instrumental in Shazier and some of our o-linemen
looks like OSU is getting more converts like other SFE coach, Ricky Williams

I THINK SFE is recruiting Raiola Dylan to play for them

Inniss, Carnel Lake, Jeremiah Smith, JoJo Trader .. all play for SFE

According to Cryami fans, the SFE coach is an "OSU schill", they're a little butthurt over us getting so many players.
And from what I understand, Raiola was supposed to play with them just for 1 tournament in AZ. I don't think it's for the entire camp circuit, and they actually recruited him to play for their team.

Ricky Williams is one coach and Geno Smith is the other coach for SFE who happen to be tight with Bill Greene, and he's had them on the Buckeye Scoop podcast with him several times. And they have nothing but great remarks about OSU, and more specifically Brian Hartline. Shazier was on SFE, but also so was Jamal Berry, Jeremy Cash and Etienne Sabino. And besides the WRs you mentioned Daemon Fagan and Mark Fletcher are also on the squad.

He plays for American Heritage which has had a ton of talent lately. Just this year we have offered him, Mark Fletcher, and Daemon Fagan. It’s also where Torrance Gibson played.

Its not just "lately". They've been putting kids in elite P5 programs and the NFL for years now. They had 7 kids in the NFL draft just last year! This is a heck of a school to build a pipeline(along with STA and of course IMG)

Competitive drive the x-factor for top-ranked pass-catcher Brandon Inniss

“I think the biggest thing with Brandon is his competitiveness,” Surtain told 247Sports. “The guy competes at everything. He comes in everyday and works his ass off. He’s a team player and he’s just one of those guys that you classify as a football player. I know he’s a receiver by position, but you can put him anywhere on the field and he will be that good. He just loves to go out there and compete on the grass.”

That desire to be the best started at a very early age for Inniss, who the 247Sports Composite pegs as the nation's top-ranked wideout in 2023. Brandon’s mother, Amy Flinton, can recall back when her son first started playing football at the age of seven. Many future skill players have pee wee tales of running wild down the sidelines, stiff-arming would-be tacklers and scoring at will. Inniss wore a high jersey number and was utilized primarily as a two-way offensive/defensive lineman.

“He was huge, so they put him on the line,” Flinton said with a laugh. “In practice, he would barely touch the other kids. I was so confused because I knew he was strong. Then the first game he got out there and it was – sack. Tackle in the backfield. Sack. Tackle in the backfield. I was like, ‘Brandon, how come you didn’t do that in practice?’ And he said, ‘Those are my teammates. I can’t hurt them.’ That was the first time when I kind of knew that football was going to be his thing.”
