What style of ribs are your favorite?

I am of the firm belief that memphis has the #1 style of ribs, and Rendevous specifically has the best BBQ in the world. I however would like to taste owensboro, ky bbq, as their bbq fest each year looks insane.

I was talking about BBQ sauce there. I'm not a big ribs guy, but the best I've had was when I lived near St. Louis at a place called Bandana's Bar-B-Q. They make the ribs for you, then you add your own sauce. They had I think four to chose from. I sampled 3 of them and they were all quite tasty.

Ribs in Memphis are damn fine. I went to this place outside Atlanta called Williamson Bros. that had the most amazing baby back ribs I've ever had. Their sauce, along with Stubbs' BBQ in Austin were some of the best southern style sauces I've had. Having grown up just a mile away from the original Montgomery Inn outside Cincinnati, I'm split between the southern style barbeque sauce and the northern style sweeter sauce. The thing that pisses me off about Montgomery Inn ribs is their rib-prep sucks. My friends who worked there say they just microwave it and keep them under heat lamps for 40 mins or so until its cooked. Nothing compares to ribs that have been smoked for half a day.
