I tried to search to see if it had already been mentioned so if it was posted please call me stupid and i'll walk away with my tail between my legs, but does anyone at the game have a rough estimate of the fans at the game. What would you say was the ratio at the stadium? I think it would be interesting too see what it was.

from the sky shots of the stadium, it looked to be quite 50/50. much unlike the 2002 fiesta. i wasn't there, but that's my guess. nd has a huge fanbase just like us, so i'm sure it wasn't hard to sell them tickets.

I don't know the ratio, but they mentioned at pregame that the Bucks fans outnumbered the Irish fans "significantly"

I talked to my old college roomate (who was there) after the game and he said it seemed to be about 50/50... unlike the last 2 times the bucks were in Tempe where it was like the horseshoe with the # of fans. Give credit to ND fans... they travel well.

I would say the numbers appeared to be 50/50 but rom my vantage point in a box I thought we were moderately louder.

  6. On tv it looked like it was about 55% Ohio St. fans but it was hard to tell.

May be lame, but I paused the TIVO and it looked like about 60/40 OSU. Hard to say without being there.

It looked 50/50 but from an unbiased point of view (:wink2: ) The OSU fans were way louder.

I don't know where this popped into my head, but I thought that Notre Dame had the majority of the fans there. From what you guys all say, it appears that I'm wrong. Besides, the O-H, I-O cheer was pretty loud, so there's a good chance Ohio State did have the majority.

I would guess that the crowd was about 60% Ohio State and they were definetly louder.

The O-H-I-O cheer was very loud, but I was surprised at how loud the domer fans were on tOSU third downs....then I heard the cheering from tOSU fans after our TD's, and I'd have to agree, it was, at worst, 50/50.

  12. I sat in section 246 with mostly Notre Dame fans and would say about 55 to 45 in favor of the Buckeyes.
Notre Dame fans were pretty civilized other than a few drunkards and they took the loss with class.Of course after losing 8 Bowl games in a row they sure have enough practice.

I just read in an article (don't remember which one) that OSU fans were up 2 to 1. I was surprised before the game when they said there were more OSU fans. Before the game I thought we would be lucky to be 50-50.

So much for traveling Domers! what does that say to recruits.

  15. Looked 50/50 and the pre-game was in OSU's end zone so what else would they say.....
