From the time he was in primary school to DeSales, I assure you the priests and nuns were constantly pushing Notre Dame as the best university in the world. I was there before him and it is all I heard. Fickell is going to want to raise his family in a situation where there is a good Catholic parish that shares his midwestern values. I understand that he has that in Cincy.

Will be interesting to see where Luke lands after this season.

I have heard from people semi-close this is last year. Wanted to ride it out with Desmond Ridder.

I’m not sure USC makes sense…..but other jobs will come open that do. Even if USC is offered, I hope he takes a step back and really thinks about where he can be most successful. He’s not a west coast guy……don’t force yourself into a bad fit.
