DT Cameron Heyward (6x Pro Bowl, 3x All Pro, Pittsburgh Steelers)

I think a thread title change is in order. He referred to himself as "the Janitor" last night in an ESPN interview when they asked him about why he played ever spot on the line and dominated. Cam might not have had all the stats this year, but last night should have shot him up the draft boards. He was a man among boys and was vital to our success. His play reminded me a ton of how Doug Worthington played in the Rose Bowl last year.

He said 'I'll clean up whatever, call me the janitor'

I would echo everyone's accolades regarding Cam's play last night, and just add that he did a lot of his damage with one arm - his left arm was injured sometime in the first half, the sideline reporter stated that he had no feeling in it, and it was just dangling on several plays. Amazing.

Anyone see what appeared to be a pretty bad cheap shot at Cam's knees last night? It was during one of their fade route touchdowns and the play had clearly progressed downfield at the time of the shot. Seemed pretty aggriegous at the time, although the camera sometimes gives us a distorted perspective.

Just wanted get people's opinions on it...

Yeah Cam jumped up in the air to try and block the pass. The OL saw that and went at his knees. Mallet was wining about much softer hits. That kind of hit could be a serious injury. I think all the cheap shots, holdings, etc were part of the reason Cam was playing out of this world. That and he is just a badass to begin with.

Yep I did, the play at the LOS was crazy and a bit dirty as well. There was chop blocks, cheap shots, and a lot of trash talking happening.
Our Buckeyes left it all on the field last night.

From dominating Jake Long on bull rushes as a freshman in 2007 to decimating Arkansas last evening, Cameron Heyward has been a joy to watch for four years in the Scarlet and Gray.

He was the epitome of a great college football player and always represented himself, Ohio State, and Buckeye Nation in the highest possible manner on and off the field.

He will be an excellent Buckeye ambassador in the NFL and will always be remember as a Buckeye great. Congratulation to him for a great college career and an even better ending to it.

4-0 against Michigan, 4 Big Ten Championships, 44 wins, and 2 BCS Bowl wins.

Best of luck at the next level big guy!
