the only argument is he transferred to pitt for pt, and never really started. best year was his jr year when he was a tad under 500 yards. he also had that neck injury before he transferred.

No doubt. Just b/c he transferred to get a better opportunity at Pitt, I don't blame him for that.
Do you honestly think he'd be where he is now with the Panthers had he not transferred to Pitt and gotten more PT?

Your initial commitment to a big school like OSU over other schools is typically saying that you love the program, and you want to be a Buckeye even though you understand playing time might not come imediatly. So, Goings came in knowing we had a slew of RB talent and yet he wanted to be a Buckeye. However, he made the right decision in transfering for more PT. If I had the boys talent and kept sitting on the bench, while getting offers to play at another school, I would bounce too.
This is kinda like a reverse JJ Sullinger. Sullinger hame from Arkansas, even though he truely wanted to play at a bigger school like OSU. He didnt have the recruting trail long enough to get here, so he went somewherelse before hand (as did many other BBall members).

Derrick Anderson left Ohio State on amicable terms. He just had to get out of the mess that was Simpson, Killa, Eaker. He won a national title in 1998 with UK. I never held a grudge against him for leaving, but I "pretty much" don't consider him a Buckeye. Same for Goings. If they consider themselves Buckeyes at heart, that's cool. Cobe Ockolijic tore it up in basketball when he transferred to some Carolina school, too.
Would be interesting to list all of the Buckeyes of the past who went on to other schools. Those three right there did better for themselves. Jaja, apparently, did not.

I consider DA to be a Kentucky Wildcat, so I have to consider Goings a (EDIT: Pitt) Panther - regardless of the motivation or circumstances behind them leaving Ohio State.
It's not a feeling of animosity or anything. They're just not, and I don't think they would say they are, Buckeyes.
