Pretty much every report on Cooper is exactly what you want to hear. He sounds like a special athlete but even more than that, everyone who sees him play is blown away by how hard he plays. On top of that, everyone who knows him talks glowingly about his character and work ethic.

You get a guy like this with that type of mentality and the physical gifts and the odds are pretty high that he ends up being a special player for the Buckeyes.

Cooper/Bosa could be a terrifying combo for opposing QBs in the future.

Pass rusher from the weak side, athletic enough to play linebacker you say? Leo in a 2 point stance. A faster version of Thaddeus! Come on down, young man!
As fast as that is, Thaddeus was reportedly much faster in HS.

Gibson is currently rated as one of Ohio's top defensive prospects in the junior class by Ohio High magazine. He likely projects as a linebacker or defensive end.

"I'm playing outside linebacker in a 3-4," he said. "I'm 6-3 and about 205 right now. I ran 4.3 at LSU camp."

Traveled to the RCS in Atlanta so he could go against some of the best...and he dominated. A perfect 12-0 in final 1v1s and was named one of the top 5 DL in attendance, which is saying something when you see some of the names that were there. Would not be surprised to see him get an invite to the Rivals 5-Star Challenge.

Free Rivals - Cooper dominates in competition

So this kid doesn't even wait to go to the Rivals camp in his home state, he decides to drive south, to where the "best HS talent is" and dominate the highly ranked OL in their own backyard! Talk about competitive, drive and fearless. Hell be a fine a Buckeye, and a reason our Dline shouldn't see much drop off, if any when Joey Bosa moves on
