DE Joey Bosa (Def ROY, 3x Pro Bowl, Los Angeles Chargers)

Having seen people put in handcuffs for no goddamn reason whatsoever, I will withhold judgment. But I really hope it falls into that category.
Remember the 2nd line of my post stated he was detained only and cuffing them was standard procedure. He was released and not charged or arrested. At this point it's literally just being at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Joey is a good kid doing the things that college students do.

That being said, he's also high profile, and needs to manage his life accordingly. It's a life lesson that some folks have to learn earlier than others.

I'm sure he'll be fine... Good parents and mentors

I know, I am just saying I hope it is nothing more. If it was a wrong place, wrong time deal then I don't give a damn.

kind of the police state we seem to be living in
joey is a good kid who is driven to succeed i wouldn't worry too much about this...i would worry more about that first QB he gets his hands on...

I hear you. Joey has been my favorite from the get-go...I watched his film as a sophomore at STA and every little recruiting update since then. He is a great recruit and a great kid from what I gather. I don't think it is an issue at all long-term but it is still frustrating considering he is heading into a 1 game suspension as is.

Come on Joey. Think.
He probably thought he was going to go enjoy a party that didn't involve a fight or getting large enough to draw the attention of the police at the time.

I get the idea that these kids shouldn't participate in any late night activity period to avoid the risk of something like this.

I also get that you're only in college once and will never have the opportunity to experience these type of late night activities ever again.

I view it like the Jack Mewhort 'public urination run from the cops' incident at this point.

Withhold judgement and hope for the best.

Most of us are only in college once. Guys like Bosa can live their entire lives like they were in college.
